I heard your performance of Phoebe’s Song on Opening Act and it brought me to tears-It was an incredibly touching tribute to an angel lost too soon-your tribute is more powerful than you know:0) I hope that you know you have an incredible gift for song writing and a true genuine spirit.

I hope to see more of your work in the future, and hope that you are able to maintain that grounded innocence that you have-it is a true gift. I know that you must be incredibly busy, but I am writing to inquire if I could attach your website and song to a  cause that is deep in my heart.

My husband committed suicide on July 3, 2011.  I am participating in the Out of The Darkness Walk sponsored by the American Foundation for the Prevention of Suicide (AFSP) on Sept 8th, 2012 in Eau Claire, WI.

I was incredibly blessed to have shared this life with my husband, even if only for a small moment. John has done more for me,because of me, and through me than I could ever possibly imagine or begin to adequately express. It is time to bring into the light the lives of those lost to suicide, because it is these individuals and the impact their lives left on us, that truly matters.

I am hoping to spread the message that YOU DO MATTER. It’s the least I can do:0) I am hoping that anything that comes out of this walk I will be able to put into a scrapbook for our two year old son, so that he can know his daddy and know that he is  embraced.  I would welcome and honor the opportunity to spread the message of your work with the anti-bullying campaign as well.

    I was very impressed ad inspired by Kylie’s story and singing on the show, Opening Act. I wondered if Kylie still visits school to talk about bullying and sing her song, “Phoebe” ? I am a high school teacher in New York and know my students would want to meet and listen to her message.
